Mission overview

Motus Via Sol is the first mission of the Supernova spacecraft tug/proximity operations vehicle from the US company Portal Space Systems. It is designed to operate across LEO, MEO, GEO, and cis-lunar space. It uses a solar thermal-powered propulsion system named FLARE, with the prospect of providing 6 km/s of delta-V. Other rideshare payloads are planned, with integration to be provided by Maverick Space Systems.
