Sophie performed three extravehicular activities, or EVAs, in less than 15 days, spending a combined 19 hours and 42 minutes outside the International Space Station.

What Happened

During the spacewalks, Sophie and her crewmates replaced critical station hardware, installed a new communications antenna and carried out maintenance.

The crew also prepared experiments for future work while adapting to the challenges of operating in the extreme environment of space.
