SpaceX is targeting Monday, Nov. 2, for Falcon 9 to loft the USSF-432 mission from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, the company said.
After the stages separate, SpaceX plans to land the booster on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, an uncrewed recovery barge stationed in the Pacific Ocean.
SpaceX said the first-stage booster is making its eighth flight. It previously launched GPS III-8 and six Starlink missions. Residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the ascent, depending on weather and other conditions, according to the company.
