Ship 42, Starship's upper stage for Flight 15, completed a single-engine static fire at SpaceX's Massey's site on the evening of Oct. 26, according to NASASpaceflight.

Starlust described such tests as engines firing while a vehicle stays anchored to the ground.

NASASpaceflight reported the Ship 42 test in an X post at 10:18 p.m. EDT. About 20 minutes earlier, the outlet had posted that Ship 42 was setting up for its firing.
