Ship-to-ship refueling test
Two Starships meet in orbit and move propellant from one to the other.
Planned Not yet scheduled Estimated
Goal
- Show one Starship can refill another in orbit. Moon landings need many refills for each landing.
The plan
- A tanker Starship launches and waits in orbit.
- A second Starship launches, docks with it, and propellant is pumped across.
- Version 3 added the docking ports and fittings for this.
Future dates come from the launch calendar and are checked every week; they often slip. All Starship missions
